Who We Are

Student Environment Centre

Student Environment Centre

The Student Environment Centre (SEC) is a resource group mandated by the Alma Mater Society for people within the UBC Community who are concerned with, or would like to learn more about, environmental problems and the broader issues of sustainability facing our planet. UBC students, faculty, staff, and residents are all welcome. In addition to providing environmental and sustainability resources to the UBC community, we organize a number of events and projects throughout the year. If you require funds or support to implement an environmental initiative, we encourage you to apply to the SEC fund and attend our meetings or office hours to discuss it further with like-minded individuals. We support many local grassroots initiatives and would love to hear your ideas!
